In 2009, the recently updated Pulsar 180 made its introduction; the most recent variation of Bajaj Pulsar 180cc DTS-i wears a design that is the ideal mix of the energetic shapes of the more established 180 and the solid form of the 200 model. The front of this bike displays a pointedly composed headlamp fitted with twin pilot lights that together looks like a wolf’s eye giving the bike a wild front exterior.
The design of pulsar 180 is same as the pulsar 150. The Pulsar 180 is a well-fabricated vehicle with a lot of mass: its body is durable and strong, yet shockingly rich in its appearance. It now highlighted more a split seat, wider tyres, a 3D Pulsar logo, clip-on handlebars and tank scoops, every single welcome feature for this new era of the bike. Bajaj Pulsar 180 is powered by a 178.6cc, 4-stroke, DTS-i, air cooled, single cylinder engine and its engine churns out the maximum power of 16.8 Bhp @ 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 14.2 Nm @ 6500 rpm. Bajaj claims the mileage of 58 kmpl which is very good for the 180cc bikes. Pulsar 180cc is accelerating 0-60 kmph in 5.8 seconds and the top speed of this bike is 124 kmph.
The suspension system duty is performed by Telescopic 130mm stroke for the front and Triple rated spring, 5 way adjustable with 101mm travel nitrox shock absorber for the rear. It is equipped with a 260mm Disc brake at the front and 130mm Drum at the rear. It is using the 17″ – 6 Spoke Alloys with tubeless tyres.
