New Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR Scooter has launched in India at Rs. 52,000* (Ex-Showroom Price, New Delhi). The Yamaha Company extended its bike portfolio in the Indian two-wheeler market by launching the new Cygnus Ray-ZR. This scooter offering the two variations, Drum and Disc brake. The Yamaha Ray-ZR Starting Price tag of Rs 52,000 whiles the Disc brake model Price cost of Rs 54,500 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It has available only in one color of shade which is green.
With the advance idea of Yamaha, Company writes the official tagline of this scooter is “Next-Generation Real Man’s Scooter”. The design of new Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR styling on the with a few energetic features like the accentuated side panels, sharp lines, double tone shading plan and popular body illustrations. It has the full analog instrument console such as Odometer, speedometer and fuel gauge. The headlamp is redesign and gets a new front fascia; while the front indicators are embed on the front fender. The main competitors of Ray-ZR are Honda Activa 3G, TVS Jupiter, Hero Maestro and Hero Maestro Edge.
Yamaha Cygnus Ray-ZR is offering the newly designed air-cooled 113cc BLUE CORE technology, four stroke single cylinder engine. Its engine churns out the max power of 7 Bhp @ 7500 rpm and max torque of 8.1 Nm @ 5000 rpm with the top speed of 80 kmph. It gives the decent mileage of 66 kmpl. Its engine matched with the V-belt automatic gearbox.
The scooter suspension system consists of Telescopic at the front and Unit Swing at the rear. It uses the both brakes – Drum and Disc brakes. In the standard version, it uses the drum brakes at the both sides, while top version comes with the drum brake at the rear and disc brake at the rear.
