Honda CB Shine Design & Features
The Honda CB Shine has 'ERGO TECH' design with lightweight diamond frame chassis. The 3D emblem on the fuel tank and the stylish graphics impart premium and stylish look to the bike. Shiny carburetor cover and exhaust muffler both in chrome give it a shiny look. The AHO (Automatic Headlamp On) and trendy visor also make it modern. The Shine is equipped with ERGO TECH design which makes it easier to handle and ride. The dash contains very decent features like the fuel gauge, speed-o-meter, odometer and also all controls near to hands which make riding convenient. The shine also has button start feature for easy starting of the bike. The perfectly fitted rear view mirrors give a clear picture of the rear side while taking turns. The new tail lamps also make it stand out in the crowd. The trendy alloy wheels with tubeless tires reduce chances of sudden deflation in case of a puncture.
The Honda CB Shine is 2012 mm long, 762 mm wide and 1090 mm high with the wheelbase of 1266 mm. Its ground clearance is 157 mm acceptable for Indian road conditions. The shine has 10.5 liters of fuel tank capacity.

The soul of the Honda CB Shine is a 4 stroke, Air cooled, SI engine that powers it. The Engine is Optimax (Optimum Input for Maximum Output) with HET BS-IV as Honda calls it. It is a 124.7 cc engine with maximum power output of 10.16 bhp at 7500 rpm and maximum torque of 10.30 Nm at 5500 rpm and the compression ratio of 9.2:1. It is a 4-speed transmission with all-up shift pattern. Honda claims the fuel efficiency of 65km/l in standard conditions. The Shine has a top speed of 93 km/h.
The shine is equipped with 130 mm drum brakes for front and rear but has an option of 240 mm disc in the front only. The combi brake system (CBS) with equalizer ensures shorter braking distance with increased stability. The Shine sits on 18-inch alloy wheels. The telescopic front and spring loaded hydraulic rear suspension give it dynamic handling feel even on bumpy or bad roads. It is a low maintenance robust bike to ride in any city or even village.
