Entering the bike segment of India, CBR 250R was Honda's first step. The bike came out as the surprise the most of its competitors. With the sporty looks and trendy designs and it was a huge success. After the success of 250R, Honda penetrated the market with 150R. The Honda has brought the MotoGP kind of looks and technology to their CBR lineup. The sporty and iconic CBR gives a racing feel while riding the bike. This bike is the derivative of racing DNA of Honda. The Honda CBR 250R shows tough times to Kawasaki Ninja 250 R which is way too expensive than CBR.
Honda CBR 250R Design and Features
The Honda CBR 250R is a comfortable bike, be it frisking through traffic or touring a highway. It is a bike desired by many. The CBR build quality looks solid. The front look smart with the headlamps and the transparent visor including two pilot lamps on the upper end. The side has a prominent fuel tank which makes the rider feel safe and the body panel looks neat with the overall design. The Honda CBR 150R is aesthetically the sports bike with a brilliant appeal. The clear lens indicators look trendy and match the overall profile of the bike. The fashionable graphic and the design of exhaust pipe make CBR special and unique.
The Honda CBR 250R is 2032 mm long, 720 mm wide and 1127 mm high with the wheelbase of 1367 mm and ground clearance of 145 mm. The Matte black finish of the engine and the alloy is impressive but the non-LED tail lamp disappoints a little. The CBR 250R is available in two editions namely the standard edition and Repsol edition. It is available in 4 different colors to choose from. With the unrivaled comfort and superb throttle, it is fun to ride. The sports faring gives it an aerodynamic advantage. The wide tyres at front and rear elevate sports persona and give solid grip to the bike. The futuristic meter with silver garnish and blue backlit give it a trendy look. The split seats give the Riders feel of comfort and thrill while riding. The pentagonal design black coated muffler gives it a racing look.

The Honda CBR 250R get its power from liquid cooled, 4-stroke, SI engine of 249.6cc with maximum power output of 26.15 bhp at 8500 RPM and maximum torque of 22.9 Nm at 7000 RPM with the compression ratio of 10.7:1. The cutting edge Technology engine is full of sheer performance while retaining great efficiency. It has 4-valve DOHC system with viscous paper air filter. The transmission is a 6-speed gearbox which gives 135 kmph as maximum speed and feels smooth and refined. The CBR 250 also has the PGM-FI fuel injection technology which increases the efficiency and makes the bike more responsive to changing conditions. It gives racing DNA to the bike.
The comfort is taken care of by the pro-link suspension that is a single shock mounted on Pro-link mechanism gives smooth ride with enhanced handling, the front is telescopic and rear is spring loaded monoshock hydraulic suspension. The body of the CBR sits on a twin Spark frame construction and 17-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tires. The braking is taken care of by a 296 mm disc at the front and 220 mm disc at the rear and C-ABS technology which prevents the wheel locking while sudden braking and distributes braking power simultaneously to bought the wheels.
